1. Description of Service

The App is a financial management tool that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to extract data from receipts and invoices. The App provides both free services (with limitations) and premium subscription-based services.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

• Payments: Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds: All billing and refunds are managed by the respective App Store. We do not have the authority to issue refunds directly.

3. Accuracy of AI-Generated Data

• AI Limitations: You acknowledge that the data extraction is performed by AI and may not be 100% accurate.
• User Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to review, verify, and confirm the accuracy of all data (dates, amounts, tax rates, etc.) before using it for accounting, tax filing, or any legal purposes.
• Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any financial losses, tax penalties, or legal issues resulting from incorrect data extraction by the AI.

4. Proper Use of the Service

• You must not use the App for any illegal activities or to process fraudulent documents.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kessan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption arising out of the use of the App.

6. Compliance with Japanese Law

While the App assists in organizing data for the Electronic Bookkeeping Storage Act and the Invoice System, we do not provide professional accounting or legal advice. Please consult with a certified public accountant (Zeirishi) for professional guidance.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that harms the service or other users.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
