We may collect information about how you interact with the App, such as device type, operating system, and app usage statistics to improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Core Service: To extract and categorize financial data using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Syncing: To synchronize your data across multiple devices via our secure backend.
• Personalization: To remember your accounting preferences and improve auto-mapping accuracy.
• Communication: To send essential service updates or provide customer support.

3. Data Processing and AI

• AI Processing: We use advanced AI models (such as Google Gemini) to process your receipt images. Data sent to AI services is used solely for extraction purposes and is handled according to strict security protocols.
• No Training: We do not allow third-party AI providers to use your personal financial data to train their public models.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Storage: Your data is stored securely on servers located in Tokyo, Japan.
• Encryption: All data transferred between the App and our servers is encrypted using Industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. Sensitive data at rest is also encrypted.
• Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our production servers within 30 days.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties. We only share information with service providers (such as cloud hosting and AI services) necessary to operate the App, all of whom are bound by confidentiality agreements.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Export: You can view and export your data at any time through the App.
• Correction: You can edit any incorrectly extracted data manually.
• Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and all associated data via the in-app settings.
• In-App Purchases: Payment processing is handled by Apple or Google; we do not store your credit card information.

7. Compliance with Laws

Our App is designed to assist users in complying with the Electronic Bookkeeping Storage Act (電子帳簿保存法) and the Invoice System (インボイス制度) in Japan. However, the user remains responsible for ensuring their accounting practices meet all legal requirements.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
